WAXED OUT delivers new music to keep your record collection fresh & stacked to the ceiling

Last week, four kids with computers from St. Paul dropped the self-titled album that has single-handedly been making the internets shit themselves. Who are they? Four musicians, all under the age of twenty-five. Not to mention that each guy possess a style all his own (picture Rodman stepping onto the court at the '93 Spurs opener).
I first reached out to Allan Kingdom for an interview two years back regarding his Allan & Franklin's Night Out on the Town EP. At the time he was giddy about the release of his "Achilles" video, which was still weeks off. Meanwhile, Bobby Raps, Psymun and Spooky Black were all hard at work crafting their solo careers. But it wasn't until they were summoned to Toronto by Grammy-award winning producer Doc McKinney to work on a single, cohesive album that they began forming the dynamic puzzle pieces that have them gaining nods from Mike Dean and DJ Khaled.
Call it what you will, but I've been closely watching this outfit from my hometown as they embark on their seven city tour. All I can say is I'm blue they won't be making it to Portland this round (shoutout to anyone in the 510 who will be making it to The New Parish for the group's left coast debut). But if things keep going this way for The Stand4rd, who knows. Maybe we'll be seeing pop up in the Pacific Northwest sooner than we think.
