Update on 11/17:Even more light has been shed on Portland's talent! Yesterday, Dodgr appeared on Sway in the Morning. Huge things for Dodgr this week and it's only Wednesday.

This past week, eyes around the world have been on Portland. First it was because of the Trump protest. And last night it was because Amine' performed on The Late Night Show Staring Jimmy Fallon. He also brought The Last Artful, Dodgr & Blossom to sing back ups and put the city on. It's been a week filled with a number of out-of-body experiences.

Hip-hop has been a word thrown around in the Portland scene for a number of years. People are really trying to tap into the market and give local artist a place to shine. Shout out to events like The Thesis and new radio station WE 96.3.Yet, somehow the vast majority of Portlanders has no idea what's happening in the hip-hop culture. People are hesitant to grab onto the local talent and support what they are doing.Up until now. The Last Artful Dodgr's song Oofda premiered on Pigeons & Planes today. TYuS' newest music video was was exclusively released by the vibe goddess, YesJulz! Blossom will be showcasing her music video for Black Magic Woman tomorrow. All of these monumental events should be on your radar if they aren't already. We must support our local hip-hop artist who are paving the way.
