We’re constantly stumbling upon new (and new to us) places around town—sometimes, so many that we can’t keep up with sharing them! Here’s a roundup of three spots we’ve come across and loved lately. Go and check them out, stat.

This freshly-opened Sellwood neighborhood coffee shop is sheer perfection. The tiny space—with a clean, mid-century modern design aesthetic—manages to feels cozy, not cramped. Seating is limited, but the little green loveseat in the window was a prime spot for relaxing. Owners Ro and Natasha are dedicated to featuring local companies, like Heart Roasters, Foxfire teas (see below) and Bakeshop pastries. Special touches include handmade soda (ginger orange zest) and syrups (vanilla bean, caramel, orgeat), and espresso flights. Yes, you read that correctly. Espresso flights, so you can try them all. Best idea ever.

Sturnelle Collection

We always feature brick-and-mortar shops on here, but this online clothing shop deserves some serious love. Owner Emily Bolles is making it easier for us to find the perfect key  vintage pieces without all the hassle of digging through endless rows of racks (or bins, if that’s your style). She has a great eye, and showcases the looks through quality photographs of well-styled models to really give the site an editorial feel. The virtual shop houses items for both men and women, with a few accessories thrown in as well. Head over there and start shopping! Just don’t buy the Pendleton skirt, that one’s calling out to us.

Foxfire Teas

Tucked behind the Historic Ford Building, you could miss this tea shop—owned by sweet husband and wife, Quinn and Katherine—if you’re not careful. (But trust us, you won’t want to.) Stocked with teapots, mugs, filters and an incredible selection of fine loose-leaf, this place has everything you could possibly need to start your own personal tea operation at home. As a bonus, if you spend $10 on any merchandise in the store, you get a complimentary cup of tea to take with you! We highly recommend the Moroccan mint.
