DOMESTIC: AN AMERICAN MADE DESIGN SHOWCASE

Hooray! Design Week is upon us! But, with over 80 events going on, it's hard to keep up.One event we are particularly excited about is Made & State's event, Domestic: An American Made Design Showcase launching this Wednesday evening. Made & State has asked six of Portland's top interior designers and shopkeepers to transform urban apartments and a rooftop patio at The Janey, off of 12th and Evertt in NW. The environments will best reflect a beautiful sense of style, utilizing the very best in modern, American Made goods. The participants include Beam & Anchor, Bright Designlab FIELDWORK DESIGN, Fig Studio Architecture + Interiors, Jennifer Fowler Interiors, JHL design inc. and Made & State. This event is particularly notable because never before have a group of Portland interior designers band together to showcase the best of American made products. While the show will run through Oct. 13, on Wednesday there will be a big Launch Party from 7-10pm. At the event there will be Fall inspired drinks complementary of New Deal Distillery and Union Wine Company as well as nibbles and music on the rooftop. Get your tickets in advance here for $15 or $20 at the door.Can't make it on Wednesday? No problem. The show will open daily on Thursday, from 11:00am - 6:00pm.
