Red Bull Sound Select consisted of some dope artists this month, but the show was stolen by PDX's own Chanti Darling. They also brought down the house at Mississippi Studio's first installment of JUMP JACK SOUND MACHINE, the bar's new queer monthly dance party. Check them out at Holocene this Thursday for what is sure to be another stellar performance. Starting with 50 seconds of silence to their set in tribute to the recent Orlando shooting, the band proceeded to heal everyone's wounded emotions with their brand of funk. Choreography was on point, and for my first time seeing them I became an instant fan. Even The Last Artful, Dodgr made a cameo during the set. Look for Chanti Darling at this weekend's WTF for a switch up of fun music.
