UNPLANNED AMERICA

They're Australian. They're on the road. They're stealing your girlfriends. But when they aren't doing that, they are busy filming throughout the USA, looking for...well who knows. These ex-MTV producers Gonzo, Pawel and Nick are living life unplanned, unadulterated and at times slightly unhinged, but the ride they’re on is nothing if not an adventure.They managed to make it to lovely little Portland and haven't been disappointed. They hit a good weekend with the gorgeous weather, Naked Bike Ride, Gay Pride Parade and a run in with E+E of course. Let's just say, we had a few questions.E+E:  So, how bad do Americans butcher your aussie accent?The guys: It's bad. Here's the trick - instead of a "e-r" add an "a" so words like "water" become "wata".E+E: What has really stuck out and surprised you the most?The guys: I think we've seen more penises that anyone should see in a one month span. Between the 3-day porn set, the Naked Bike Ride and the Hot Springs, there have been a lot. More than we could have ever dreamed.E+E: Fabulous. What is your favorite city so far?The guys: Tie between Austin and Portland. They both share a similar cool vibe and we are definitely drawn to the kinship that both cities have. It's funny they both have the "Keep ----- Weird" signs.E+E: Any mishaps or delays?The guys: Between the three of us we've been tasered, lost an appendix, pepper sprayed, got poison ivy, and had our first ever car crash.  But on the flip side we've seen a weird and wonderful side of America that few get to experience, have been welcomed into so many homes and met great friends along the way.E+E: What's the most absurd American phrase you've come across.The guys: YOLO ( You Only Live Once- for those who have been lucky enough to not come across it yet) was being screamed by drunk college kids the entire time we were in South Padre Island, TX during Spring Break. That was pretty ridiculous.  We don't have anything like Spring Break in Australia, so it was quite the experience.E+E: You leave Portland tomorrow...what's the next move?The guys: We're heading towards the east coast going through middle America to reach Detroit.
