With Portland’s summer supposedly starting tomorrow, it’s time to dust off your social calendar and get ready to rock a tank and shorts. There are a lot of events happening soon, so get our your iCal and mark these down.
Wednesday 6/26: TONIGHT Lizard Lounge and Red Wing Heritage will be re-launching the style numbers of 875 and 877. Don’t know what those numbers mean? Well, they are two of Red Wing’s most iconic boots that have been updated in Oro Legacy leather (so beautiful). This leather is almost a perfect match to the leather they used when the boot was first introduced in ‘53. So bring some friends and head down to Lizard Lounge from 7-10pm tonight for some drinks, boots and a special performance by Dolorean at 9pm.

Saturday 6/29: Back in 2009 Megabolt formed a group of creative people who were striving to influence children’s lives through art. Since then, they have been producing art workshops and projects with kiddos across the US. Earlier this year they teamed up with a kid named Joe Henry to create skateboard deck designs that are currently being produced by a Wisconsin based skate company, Avalia.
On Saturday, they will be hosting Ride On to unveil Joe’s decks. To add to the event, they have teamed up with 47 artist and designers to create one-of-a-kind skate decks to be part of the silent auction to help fundraise for future workshops.
