MUSICEYES & EDGE

If you keep your ear to the ground on all of the latest Indie albums but these are the ones that you can’t miss. These are from the up and coming bands, so you can safely say that you heard them before anyone else.Blossoms is a five person band that comes out of Manchester with a great, new sound. They’ve been steadily making their way into the big time after signing a deal with Sony last year. Their latest album came out in February of this year and it’s doing massively well, thanks to a huge Spotify following. Their music style is reminiscent of early electronica tracks and has a distinctly 80s vibe. The album only has 4 tracks but it’s worth every second that you spend listening to it.Picture1On to another UK Indie band and this one comes to listeners from the Welsh valleys by the name of Catfish and the Bottlemen. Their dulcet tones have brought them a large following in the UK and they’re reportedly fans of the UK favorite online game, bingo. This band splashed onto the scene in 2014 with their album The Balcony, which earned a gold disc. They’ve got a new album planned for this year and you’ll want to watch out for this untitled album in the coming months. There are few UK Indie fans that won’t know of The Stone Roses as they’ve swelled in popularity. Their self-titled album is widely regarded as one of the best to ever come from a UK band and there are rumblings of another. They’ve not yet announced their new album but it’s a hot topic in the industry right now. They have 4 sold out shows upcoming this year and hopefully they’ll be dropping a new album to go along with it.
