PFW 2014.. INSERT *EMOJI HERE

Each year we do this dance and go to Portland Fashion Week. We see our same friends, talk about how the fashoin scene in Portland is lacking and chat about exciting projects we are working on. The fashion shows are always well produced, the designers show interesting clothes and the models look nice. But at the end of the show, we are left wondering - what is the point? There are never any even D-List celebrities at the event, no buyers from New York or Los Angeles and the press cover is yours truly and some other good blogs in Portland.This year, there are some pieces that are great, emergining designers that we support and are excited to see grow. Bradly Lange has always been a faovirte and we are excited to see his show (and upcoming SS15 lookbook). Jaefields is making over 30 looks for this show which is super impressive. Claire Doody's line Cooper Union always brings the hottest models and impressive head to toe looks. There are many other designers showing at this years PFW as well. Check out the designers and buy tickets here.As much as we want to support Portland Fashion Week, maybe we need to be focusing on getting these designers, looks and brands outside of Portland.
