Max Foxx and Nicky Renard have come together to make a surprising musical mix. Their new single Grovy Lane is a summer tune featuring American Idol winner Caleb Johnson. The three artists come together for a lovely tune that makes you feel like you are driving down the highway in a rad car jammin. These days, they are spending the summer in the mountains far up north working on their upcoming album.Nicky will add both electric and acoustic guitar solos to various songs throughout the album in the most magical way. Nicky has been playing the guitar since she first received a Yamaha guitar for her 10th birthday. She learned two chords and soon began composing songs. From there she continued to teach herself and apart from a few lessons, is completely self taught. Now, at age 15, she is reigniting musical elements and sparking creativity for Max Foxx. The two add a balance of youth and experience that is not found in any other duo.The song Grovy Lane was dormant until last year when Nicky came across it and made a complete song out of Max’s original song. The OG song was composed in 1976 but wasn’t ever finished. Nicky added elements to the song that brought out the original chords.Max was born and raised in Southern Sweden in a small town. At the age of seven he began playing the piano. Fast forward to October 2016 in Nashville, Tennessee, Max and Nicky soon composed additional parts to the song.Max’s wise experience and Renard’s unique youthful talent make it a great partnership. The collaboration has a fantastic surprise. Be sure to listen to the song on Spotify!
