Greetings Earthlings! If that is your real species. I hope you all had a terrific Earth Day yesterday, filled with grounding and humbling epiphanies that assisted in reminding you, that you are a part of something bigger than yourselves. I never quite understood why people get days off celebrating personages such as Columbus, yet Earth Day remains somewhat of a second- tiered celebration. It is our home, and keeping the oxygen incubator spinning sustainably should be a pivotal priority for us humans. Anyways, if you missed celebrating our planet yesterday, this Saturday, Kenton Park in North Portland is offering you a joy-filled day of Earthly activities, such as live music and health awareness services. The Portland Earth Day Coalition will offer fun for the entire family, so come on out between the hours of 10 A.M. to 6 P.M. and participate in “Reverse Migration,” the stand out theme for the day. Close your eyes now, and imagine a world without clean water, or without those beautiful trees changing color in October, we need this place way more than it needs us, so lets take it in, and then take it on. Here’s to a clean Earth, and those wonderful smiling faces.
