We all know, Oregon's beer makers takes their trade seriously. That's why we particularly love Deschutes Brewery, one of the finest craft beer makers located on the banks of the Deschutes River in Bend. Naturally, the brewery is a huge supporter of the Deschutes River Conservancy, a local non-profit dedicated to keeping the water, so vital to our ecosystem (not to mention our beer), healthy and clean. Deschutes Brewery also is a huge supporter of independent music producers. Their newest project brought together both of these things.Collaborating with the lovely Portland singer and songwriter Laura Gibson, they traveled to Smith Rock to record her version of "Down by the Riverside". Surrounded by the beautiful landscape of Smith Rock, the project brings together craft beer fans, experimental outdoor recordings, popular indie musicians and a sustainable mission. All things we can't get enough of, even if we tried!Watch the brand new video and enjoy! And if you feel particularly generous today, make a donation! Proceeds will of course be donated to Deschutes River Conservancy to keep the water crystal clear and clean.
