DîNER EN BLANC

This year’s Dîner En Blanc in Portland was a real life fairy tale. A bit of history first; in 1988 the white dinner began as an impromptu picnic by one François Pasquier in France. Everyone invited by François wore white so that they could find each other at the park they agreed to meet at. Flash forward and today the dîner is held by committee parties across the globe. As the tradition continues here in Portland, this year’s merrymakers gathered downtown at the Custom’s House to eat, drink, and enjoy life. Everyone wore dazzling white dresses and attire - almost as if angels were brought to Earth for an eveningPhotos by: Marina Choy
