We are following D. Worthy and Jre Allen on the Fly America tour featuring Derek Luh and Mark Battles. D will be guest blogging his experience for E+E through the trip. We took on Santa Barbara and San Diego."I work in the dead of nightWhen the roads are quiet, no one is around "Sitting here in San Diego, thinking about how crazy it is that I'm even out here on the road. This whole opportunity has been a complete blessing of great mystery. A couple days ago I was just at home with my daughter plotting on how to change my situation & today I'm writing you guys from my hotel room in San Diego. Last night I was just in Santa Barbara and tomorrow I'll be in Arizona. It's trippy. You always hear people talking about how"Change begins at the end of your comfort zone." But you never fully understand that quote until you leave your comfort zone. Until you actually get your ass up and figure it out. Until you lose your mind and wanna pull out your hair. When you don't have the answers to any of the questions then you know your out there. Outside of what you know. And honestly I can say that's were the I've experienced the most growth.Every show, every person, every connection is apart of the growing process. You learn how to travel, how to packHow to talk to different fans and make a impact on a national level. As a opener on a show or tour you deal with multiple obstacles from when do I even perform? Are the fans interested? How does the headliner feel about me? Do they respect me?My advice is to forget all of that & remember every night that nothing is promised and you don't know what can happen. If this is your dream you gotta cherish the moments and pull momentum from your heart. because the realist fact is that you'll always be consider crazy until you reach greatness. So am I crazy yes.Outside of my comfort zone and crazyOn the corner of greatness & happiness.I could of picked a better route.I'm going for everything.
