EYES & EDGE TEAM + Whitney Brielle + FREE + LOUIS PISANO
As a necessary surge for racial equality sweeps across the United States with the Black Lives Matter movement, there are several ways to champion support. Whatever method you elect to aid this critical movement in history—protesting, self educating, community educating, awareness and diversification of opportunity—we’re imploring you to be mindful of your money. Waive your banners, but shout louder with your stacks. Put your money where your mouth is—black brands matter.
FREE, in conjunction with LOUIS PISANO has formulated an insightful list of blatantly racist fashion brands to avoid here. (It’s just a highlight reel, as unfortunately racism in fashion is wide-spread.) So while suspending your financial support of those brands is paramount, you can make an even greater difference by SUPPORTING black owned and operated brands. Here are a few of our favorites, collated by FREE.
